Content Marketing is like a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down
We spoke to Liam Harrington, CEO and Co-founder of UNILAD, about marketing to young people. He should know as he has just beaten every old-school publisher at their own game by launching one of the most popular content channels on social media. With almost 19m page likes on Facebook (compared to 6.4m for the Guardian or 6m for the Daily Mail) this guy has shown the establishment how to speak to young people. His piece of wisdom? Young people don’t mind being marketed to. You just have to get the tone of voice right. It’s all about content marketing, which is “a bit like a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down”.
